Violaine (or anyone!), I consistently run into a problem with physical
file definitions not being refreshed. I verify a program using a
physical file and it works fine. The file is defined as an externally
defined data structure which is being include via a /copy member (which
might be part of the problem?).

If I then go onto the iSeries and change that file (add a field, use
CHGPF to add the field to the physical), and then attempt to use that
field in my program, I consistently get "field not found" on verifies.

The program compiles fine on the host, but fails in verify in WDSC.
I've tried clearing the file cache using Windows/Preferences/Remote, but
that didn't help.

UPDATE: I did finally get it to work by going into RSE, into my library
list, and refreshing the library the file was in and the file itself,
and then bringing up a list of the fields in that file. I'm not sure
which step actually updated the cache to the point where the RPG member
would compile, but one of them seemed to do the trick.
