We are trying to tune our WebSphere application server (express v5.1)
for better performance.
Through the IBM information center we learned that Runtime Performance
Advisor Configuration could help us with this. For that to work we need
to enable performance monitoring services through the admin console.
We followed the help at:
ibm.websphere.exp.doc/info/exp/ae/rprf_dataorg.html
<http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/ws51help/index.jsp?topic=/com.
ibm.websphere.exp.doc/info/exp/ae/rprf_dataorg.html> )
until "step 5: Click Performance Monitoring Service."
The reason for this is that we don't have this option, there is no
"Performance Monitoring Service" to be found.

What can be wrong? Is this something we forgot to install?

With regards,
Eelco van den Berk
