Hi Charles, Don't worry, it's not on the "crazy request list" :-). I can see the value of this, particularly when there are a lot of parameters. I opened an official feedback item in our project database for this today so we remember to follow up on it (before realizing we already have one for this) . In order to implement the feature it may require some changes to the compiler to preserve the name info. As a result, this isn't something we can do without considering all the implications. ____________________________________ David McKnight Phone: 905-413-3902 , T/L: 969-3902 Internet: dmcknigh@xxxxxxxxxx Mail: D1/619/8200/TOR ____________________________________ "Wilt, Charles" <CWilt@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent by: wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx 04/25/2005 04:07 PM Please respond to Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries To "Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries" <wdsci-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> cc Subject RE: [WDSCI-L] Outline view - Prototype field definitions (Status?) David, Thanks for the reply. Can you say rather this is on the "we're working on this for the next ( or future ) release TODO list" or "the crazy requests by customer's that we'll get to after I retire TODO list" <grin> I think it's a pretty important feature to be missing. Is there anything I should do to "officially" make IBM aware of my thoughts on the need for this?
