Hi Charles,

Don't worry, it's not on the "crazy request list" :-).  I can see the 
value of this, particularly when there are a lot of parameters.   I opened 
an official feedback item in our project database for this today so we 
remember to follow up on it (before realizing we already have one for 
this) .  In order to implement the feature it may require some changes to 
the compiler to preserve the name info.   As a result, this isn't 
something we can do without considering all the implications.

Thanks for the reply.

Can you say rather this is on the "we're working on this for the next ( or 
future ) release TODO list" or "the crazy requests by customer's that 
we'll get to after I retire TODO list" <grin>

I think it's a pretty important feature to be missing.  Is there anything 
I should do to "officially" make IBM aware of my thoughts on the need for 
this?
