I have a similar issue with a SSL proxy that we use for network access. Neoteris. I have not had any success getting WDSCi to talk to the network through the proxy. Any suggestions? Vincent, You can always setup a VPN locally on your own LAN from your desktop to the iSeries. A bit paranoid, but it works and is transparent for all the applications (in that case there's even no need to run Client Access with SSL which you now do as well I presume). Paul I work for a bank. Paranoid level is high. I have to use SSL to the i5. "Time is an illusion... Vincent, You can run WDSC over a VPN without any problem... there's nothing to configure. A VPN or tunnel is transparent for the application. I don't see a point to use SSL for WDSC itself.
