Under "Preferences" then "Remote Systems", you can uncheck the option
"Re-open remote systems to previous state". This will cause the tree to
always be collapsed and all connections closed on start-up.

subject: [WDSCI-L] Initial startup takes long because of open filters

Hi,

Why oh why does my initial WDSCi startup take close to 5 minutes?

When I had a filter opened in RSE the last time I closed WDSCi, the next
startup automatically starts to resolve the filter, this takes ages. The
thing I don't get here is that when my RSE view was totaly collapsed the
last time I closed WDSCi the startup takes seconds (instead of minutes)
and opening the filter after this startup also takes seconds (instead of
minutes).

So,

- Anyone know why this happens and how to solve it? If not:
- Anyone know if there is a setting that somehow collapses the whole RSE
view (and all table views) on closure so the startup has nothing to
resolve.

Any ideas are welcome,

Bas
