I'm not sure if I understand what you are asking for.

But If for instance, you want a filter that shows members from multiple files 
or files from multiple libraries or something similar.

Just right click on the filter and select properties.  In the dialog box that 
pops up take a look at the "filter strings".  You can add whatever additional 
filters you want.
