Chris,

If you have WDSC 5.1.2, you can search multiple IFS files under the same
folder. Right click on the folder in the IFS Files subsystem, and select
Search... Specify the string to search for, and the file name patterns to
search on a subset of the files.

You can also select Remote... from the Search menu to search IFS.

Cheers,

I was looking at trying a make a find user action for IFS files. IE, I
would highlight multiple IFS text files, execute my Find User Action
(qshell find), it would prompt to enter the value to search for. I have
no clue how the Variables work. Has anyone done this already?

Or

Is there a better why to search multiple IFS files w/having to import
each one in the work bench?

TIA

Chris
