The Compile action implicitly does a "push changes" operation prior to doing the compile. If you haven't changed the source, it won't push it. If you have changed it since the last time it was pushed and its not pushing it then its a bug. _______________________ David Dykstal david_dykstal@xxxxxxxxxx "Bruce Guetzkow" <bruceg@unitedcre ditservice.com> To Sent by: <wdsci-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wdsci-l-bounces@m cc idrange.com Subject [WDSCI-L] Compile from iSeries 01/28/2005 04:43 Projects Perspective doesn't always PM push source to host Please respond to Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries All: I have noticed that if I select more than one source member from a source file in a project in the iSeries Projects perspective and then select "Compile", sometimes the source is not pushed back to the host before it is compiled. I have to manually select the source member, then select "Push selected". After that the correct version of the source is compiled. Has this happened to anyone else? I am using version 5.1.2.4 with build ID 20050104_2139. I just downloaded the latest and greatest updates last week and am current on all PTFs.
