Well, the way I found it first, was by looking through the various
com.aldon.* folders in the plugins directory, the documentation is in
com.aldon.team.doc_4.2.0. However that is probably the least useable way
to access it. A better, much more useable method is to go to the WDSCi
online help, where there should be an "Aldon Lifecycle Manager Team
Repository" book. The documentation still leaves much to be desired but
at least you can navigate through it.

Something else I disliked was that in order to get the "Aldon LM(i)"
subsystem in my iSeries connection, in RSE, I had to create a new
iSeries connection, I couldn't find a way to get it added to an existing
connection. Now I did finally accomplish this, by closing WDSCi and then
copying the
"workspace\RemoteSystemsConnections\userid\Connections\connectionName\com.aldon.iseries.rse.subsystems.factory"
folder from the new connection into the old connection. If anyone knows
of a better way to do this I would be interested in finding it out.

Where did you find the documentation? All I have are installation
instructions that came in the zip file. I thought there should be some
sort of documentation but I haven't been able to find it.

I don't currently use iSeries projects so I can't help with that one.

To quote from the documentation included with the plugin:
"Note: You cannot add iSeries objects to Aldon LM or Aldon LM(i) using
the Eclipse interface at the present time."

So, no you can't add from RSE.

What I want to know is why you can't use the plugin with an iSeries
project. Shouldn't that be the primary place you can use it from?

I wondered if it was just me. It's a shame to have to go back to the
green screen to add an object to Aldon. It looks like I can do
everything else from RSE.
