Hi, I'm getting desperate... why don't my servlets work anymore using sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver ? On another desktop (WDSC 5.1.0.2) it works fine, but not on my new laptop (WDSC AE 5.1.2.2) ? The environment is slightly different, but I can't remember having done anything special regarding this on the desktop. Also a normal Java application works fine... so I suspect the classpath, but isn't the SUN JDBC-ODBC bridge not part of a normal runtime, or am I wrong ? Also, the jdbc-odbc bridge is part of a normal Java runtime, so I shouldn't need anything extra. I just can't find out the difference between the two PC's. " in your case probably I think, find the jdbc driver(I mean look for the appropriate JAR file) and import into the above said library. I hope this helps. This time, I have a working web application (developed on another PC and copied over) which I try to run, but the server always tells me that I have ClassNotFoundException on sub.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver ? Do I need to put this somewhere in a configuration file, as I don't see why he can't find it (it's in rt.jar anyway).
