Jon and Chenghui, Thanks for getting back to me. I am running Windows XP, I am not an administrator on my machine and using WDSc 5.1.2.2. I created the VARPG project within WDSc using the VARPG Explorer view. I don't have any issues defining connections in WDSc, so I thought I wouldn't have any issues defining the servers for VARPG. I closed down the project and started VARPG itself. I then opened the project up again and the servers I have defined in WDSc appeared in the server definition window, I didn't have to add any. I then closed the project and ended VARPG, I opened the project within WDSc again and the servers were gone. So it appears my issue is with creating or opening a project within WDSc. So I just won't do that. Thanks for your help. I don't know if it is the same problem, but WDSc sometimes has a similar problem with the HOSTS file. It tries to add an entry but, because you don't have admin rights on the PC, the file is read only. Are you an Administrator on the machine? If not - you may need write authority on this file.
