Webfacing Stalls

In a webfaced application I have a few users who can get to the a screen that I 
set up to validate who they are.  They initally get into the application 
because the screen is part of it.  After they hit enter and submit the 
information the whole process hangs.  I cannot duplicate this in our test 
environment.  It there a limit to the number of sessions that can be active at 
a given time?  Has anyone experienced this type of problem in the past?  Thanks 
in advance.
