Since we're on V5R2, I went looking for that version of the system handbook. Geez, I hate searching for information on IBM's web siteS (capital plural 'S'). I even search on GA19-5486 at www.redbooks.ibm.com, which the v5r2 pocket handbook shows is the pub number for the v5r2 system handbook, and I get 12 results, BUT NOTHING ON THIS PUB! It appears that v5r2 system handbook has dropped off the web. Grrrr! Some things never change. db > -----Original Message----- > From: wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx / Vernon Hamberg > Sent: Tuesday, October 26, 2004 11:23 AM > > One source is the system handbook - V5R3 version is at > <http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/redpieces/abstracts/ga195486.html> > > Now, IBM Open Class is not available at V5R3, so you'll need to look at > that Redpieces site and search for the earlier handbooks (put "iseries > handbook" in the search text box and press enter).
