As of 5.1.2, WebFacing and the Web Tools components support single sign on using EIM (Enterprise Identity Mapping). You need the Advanced version of WDSCi. For information and setup, refer to the help by selecting Help > Developing > Web applications > iSeries WebFacing applications > Working with WebFacing applications > Setting authentication options. At the bottom of that page, see the section Enabling single signon. Be prepared to learn about EIM, WAS Security, and LDAP. The iSeries needs to be at V5R2 or later. If you scan around for articles by him you should get a start. Other buzzwords like Kerberos and stuff will come into play. I think this is starting to stray towards one of the other lists though - web400 or midrange-l.
