Gregg - I removed the -feature entry from my desktop icon (even had my supervisor watching over my shoulder) but that resulted in no change. As per Don Yantzi's recent post on adding -nosplash, that did it! Thank you to all who replied. -m -----Original Message----- From: wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Don Yantzi Sent: Wednesday, October 20, 2004 8:33 AM To: Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] WDSc 5.1.2 Concealing Password prompt You can also add the parameter: -nosplash to the end of the target field for the WDSc shortcut. This prevents the splash screen from appearing. This will remove the banner from coming up though it does seem like nothing is happening until the login is finally displayed. Personally, I have the login and password saved so I do not see the login window.
