Go to the properties of your desktop icon and remove the -feature. This will remove the banner from coming up though it does seem like nothing is happening until the login is finally displayed. Personally, I have the login and password saved so I do not see the login window.

We recently upgraded from WDSc 5.1.0.3 to 5.1.2. More often than not, when I launch WDSc from my desktop, the initial WDSc banner window "Powered by Eclipse Technology, etc..." will completely conceal the "Enter password" prompt, which allows me to connect to my iSeries and complete the launch of the WDSc application. The initial banner window does not allow repositioning, whereas the Password Prompt window seems to position itself randomly. I know that I have a Password Prompt concealment situation when the processor light on my PC is no longer aglow and the application is idle, waiting for the Password Prompt to be entered. What I am forced to do then is go into Task Manager and perform an "End Process" on the eclipse.exe listed as an active task. This removes the initial banner window and allows the Password Prompt window to appear.

I have searched high and low through all sorts of Window/Preference settings within WDSc to try and find something equivalent to a "Bring to Front" (using PowerPoint terminology) setting for the Password Prompt window but with no success.

If anyone has a solution to this particular challenge, I would be most greatful.
