Kelly, >From our point of view as users of the WDSC product, which we pay for through software subscription, this is a design flaw. As paying customers, I cant see why bugs, design flaws such as this cant be fixed in the next release. I would have thought the fact that it is based on a popular open source product means that development cycle is shorter, meaning that these things should be easier/quicker to fix. cheers Colin.W Extension 5800 Direct dial 0870 429 5800 -----Original Message----- From: Kelly Cookson [mailto:KCookson@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 05 October 2004 13:59 To: 'Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries' Subject: RE: [WDSCI-L] Removing a plug-in That is my understanding as well. I think this is one of the times when the cracks in the WDSCi-on-Eclipse strategy shows through. IBM doesn't have to deal with this issue because they can point to Eclipse and say it's their problem. Eclipse is not obligated in any way to WDSCi users, so they can say they have more important things to do. Bottom line, WDSCi users are left dealing with a product deficiency. Having used it for some time, I would like to remove it, because it has no real benefit for me. However, I could not find an option like 'Uninstall plug-in' or 'Remove plug-in' or something like that. Can anyone tell me how to remove the plug-in, in a clean way, i.e. not just by removing a directory?
