Here is the info I got from our guys here: Claus, we know why this is happening: These customers must have McAfee 8.0 installed on their system. It turns out that disabling "Buffer Overflow Protection" brought back the icons. This option is part of McAfee 8.0 and seems to cause this problem. To disable, bring up the "VirusScan Console", right click Buffer Overflow Protection, and select disable. This problem has been reported to McAfee by a number of companies but I'm not sure of any committed fix date.
