All:

This question has been asked before, but I couldn't find a resolution,
so...

When I compile a member from WDSc the job name submitted is the name of
my job description. I would like it to be the name of the member being
compiled (as is done by PDM). I have looked at the Preferences for
Remote Systems>iSeries>Command Execution and have noticed the SBMJOB
additional parameters field. I tried using a substitution variable,
JOB(&N), but this doesn't work (no substitution takes place and the job
dies because &N is an invalid job name).

I've tried to find the information in the WDSc Help but the only
instructions are to add additional SBMJOB parameters in the field. Gee,
I never would have guessed. <g>

I am currently running V5.1, build id: 20030908_2154. To the best of my
knowledge I have all necessary PTFs installed and latest updates (famous
last words).

Thanks in advance,
