I do all of my CL work in SEU.  I find LPEX much to slow.  OK, I may add
comments in LPEX.

However, I do have a CL re-formatter (I've mentioned this before) that I use
to make sensible (for me anyway) indentation.  

Of course, the re-formatter will break on the V5R3 CL improvements.
