Not to put too fine a point on it but the Development Team and the Network 
Weasels don't always work together to make "improvements" to the computing 
environment.

Someone installed a firewall on your PC and didn't tell you?!?  How long
were you fighting this problem?  (I remember you saying "beyond frustration"
or somesuch.)  I think I'd arrange for a "private meeting".
