There is another way. A change management tool like SoftLanding's Turnover. I don't know where it stores it, but it remembers the defaults for each individual member. You can also store 'pre run' and 'post run' commands. Both RSE and iSeries projects work off the same set of compile commands based on source type -- so you set it using RSE in releases prior to 5.1.2. In 5.1.2 you can specify the compile commands on the source member itself, but it still applies to any member with that source type. Ideally, my guess is that you'd like to be able to specify a default command for a source type, but be able to override it for some members. We haven't come up with a workable user interface for that as yet so the best thing to do is to generate a build script (a CL program) for the project and modify it as needed. _______________________ David Dykstal david_dykstal@xxxxxxxxxx "Charlebois, Chris" <Chris.Charlebois To @disney.com> <WDSCI-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent by: cc wdsci-l-bounces@m idrange.com Subject [WDSCI-L] Submit Build for Modules 07/27/2004 12:23 PM Please respond to Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries Just getting used to the Projects and the "Submit Build" feature. Very cool. Question, is there a way to define a source member (in a project) as a *Module, so when the COMPILE.CLLE is created, it uses the CRTRPGMOD command, instead of CRTBNDRPG?
