I am also running XP Pro (with latest fixes).
I'll check if shutting down using the 'X' rather than 'file/exit'
alleviates the problems.

Thanks for the suggestion.

When I'm done for the day I just click the big "X" in the top right
corner. When I start it up again the next day it brings up all the
source members I had open when I closed it the previous day. This has
not caused me any problems so far, although I had a strange thing happen
the other day when it refused to save anything on the iSeries.

I'm running Windows XP Pro, if that makes a difference.

Every time I shut down WDSCI, I close all open files, click on "file",
and click on "exit". Every time I start WDSCI I am presented with an
Eclipse error telling me that "Another session is running in the
associated workspace. If this is not the case, please delete the ".lock"
file in the workspace ".metadata" directory and try starting the
platform again." I delete the file, start WDSCI, work all day, shut it
down properly (as far as I can tell) and get the same message again
tomorrow. <clip> _______________________________________________
