Phil, Using the Windows Tweak UI program (you have to download this from Microsoft) you can prevent applications from stealing focus. Alternatively you can prevent the RSE from re-expanding your connections to their previous state on startup which would prevent the signon dialogs and progress monitors from appearing. To do this: open the preferences dialog (Window > Preferences), select the Remote Systems preference page and deselect the "Re-open Remote Systems view to previous state" Don Yantzi WebSphere Development Studio Client for iSeries IBM Toronto Lab Phone: (905) 413-4476 IBM internal: IBMCA(yantzi) - Internet: yantzi@xxxxxxxxxx phillip.groschwit z@xxxxxxxxx Sent by: To wdsci-l-bounces@m wdsci-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx idrange.com cc Subject 05/19/2004 10:10 [WDSCI-L] frequent grabbing of AM focus Please respond to Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries When starting up WDSC, a dialog box pops up after I signon for each source file I have expanded, and it looks like for any source member I left open when I exited. Is there a way to keep those dialog boxes from grabbing focus? I want WDSC to open in the background so that I can do something else during that time.
