Aaron,

Could you check to see if you have one (or more) files named javacore*.txt.
They will be in the directory where the wdsc.exe file that launches WDSC
is. This typically would be c:\program files\ibm\websphere studio\site
developer\v5.1. Could you send me (esimpson@xxxxxxxxxx) the latest one
along with the source you were in when the crash occured?

Thanks,
Eric

I just had the "automagic" end happen. It happened after a fresh boot and
I
had just opened WDSc. I was using the scroll bar to go down further in an
RPG source member when it happened. Here is the picture that is left after
the crash: http://mowyourlawn.com/temp/wdsc_crash.jpg

The craziest thing about it is that there was nothing for today in the
Eclipse Error log. Just stuff from yesterday (May 12th). So it is
crashing
hard enough that it doesn't have a chance to log it before it exits.

Are the cases where WDSc ends 'automagically' always when scrolling with
arrows keys through RPG or CL source? Has it occured in big and small
files? Are there other situations? How frequently does it happen?

Thanks,
Eric
