As I was updating a Client Access Express PC from the IFS image
having just done a PTF upgrade, it occurred to me how simple it
all was compared to the WDSCi install I just did.

It also occurred to me that the processes are virtually identical.
I am not entirely sure what IBMs present strategy is but
considering that WDSCi is bundled as part of the purchase of
a compiler/s why not put WDSCi on the IFS and have it updated
on a PTF install, just like Client Access Express.

If that is not possible, can I load the WDSCi disks to the IFS
THEN apply the ptfs so that I get an up to date image and then
I can use the 'wonderfully simple' process to install an updated
image onto each PC just like Client Access Express.

The present method of loading WDSCi is a bit archaic.
(Multiple web downloads are a pain)
