integrating webfacing project with existing web project

Hi
We have been working on a web interface for AS400,
(not webfacing) and for this project we use to create
a AS400 object and store it in session, this object
would be created in QUSWRK subsystem.
Now we have a webfacing project which needs another
login, can i some how integrate the 2 projects,
I would like to use the AS400 object from session for
both the projects,
Is it possible or not, if possible how
