Greg,
Please check the output queue in your job description and make sure it
points to the correct queue. We actually use the FNDSTRPDM command to find
the string and I would look into providing an option so that the searching
can be done without generating spool files.

PM [WDSCI-L] iSeries search update
Please respond to

iSeries
I have found out why the reports automatically printed. I had another
associate do a similar search and his spooled files automatically printed
to a different printer than me. So it was determined what ever the Printer
Device value is in your user profile is were the spooled file is
automatically sent. Frustrating. IF, you would like to print your results,
it should default to the output queue defined in your user profile, not the
print device. This would allow you to review before printing. Otherwords,
you would have to hold the printer device. I have searched within
Preferences and can find nothing to change this attribute of the iSeries
search option.
Best regards,
