Eric: I actually did that piece of the install too. It still does not work. It seems like when I reinstalled it never cleaned up everything it needed to from the uninstall process. I am not sure where to go from here. I have tired the reinstall again and still the same results. -----Original Message----- From: DeLong, Eric [mailto:EDeLong@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, December 26, 2003 4:18 PM To: 'Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries' Subject: RE: [WDSCI-L] Reinstalled WDSC 5.1 having problems with VisualAge RPG Ed, I think installation of the CODE/400 and VARPG components is a second installation step. On my PC, I never ran the second part, and the installation option still shows up as a shortcut in the Websphere Studio Client folder in my start menu (named "Complete the installation of CODE and VisualAge RPG"). I have just reinstalled WDSC 5.1 on my systems. And now when I try to open up the VisualAge RPG, I am getting an error message. It shows a window that says Restoring From Profile...but then pops up another window with an error message stating: "WinLoadString(IResourceId:11302):No error text is available." then my only option is to click an "OK" buton and it ends the program. Any clues as to what happened here? Thanks in advance!
