Hi Aaron,
Actually, terminating debug session in WDSC does not terminate user job
under debug on the iSeries. It simply ends debug on that job and lets it
run.
Perhaps, we should be a bit more specific in our user interface
terminology,
but I believe our docs actually cover this point...
We use STRSRVJOB and STRDBG under the hood of this debugger in order
to service and debug user job. I think it is quite debatable whether
debugger
has the right to terminate user-supplied job anyway :-)

Shouldn't the job I am debugging end on the iSeries once I have terminated
it from WDSc? I have been terminating debugs and am finding that it leaves
the job running even though I do not have a debug thread going in WDSc
anymore.
Any explanations?
