You can run WebSphere on any supported platform, this is why it works on
your PC using WDSC's test environment.  That is just a copy of WAS running
locally.

Sorry to ask such a naive question, but I don't recall a definitive
statement in any of the literature I've read. We have WebSphere Application
Server Express 5 (WASE 5) running on a Windows 2000 machine.

Can I use the Web Facing tool and install the resulting EAR file in WASE 5
on the Windows machine, or does WASE 5 have to be installed on the iSeries
for Web Facing to work?  Will there be any special configurations I will
need to make to either WASE 5 or the EAR configuration files?
