Aaron, As Jon indicated it is Ctrl-Space not Ctrl-Enter. Also, you do not mention it, so I will ask, do you have the Outline view refreshed? The feature only works if the outline view is populated. (TC)" <ALBartell@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent by: wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx 11/02/2003 09:21 AM CST Please respond to Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries Hi all, I just installed 5.1 with seamless ease and migration from 5.0(thanks for that!). I have come across my first problem:-) When I first open WDSc 5.1 I don't have it connecting to my iSeries, but I do have it retain the state of my environment (all of my RPG source members are open as I left them). In 5.0 I could immediately start editing the source members without having to connect, and when I saved it the connection would automatically happen. With 5.1 if I don't connect to my iSeries manually before I do a save on my source member it just sits there locked stating that it is connecting to my iSeries, but after 3 minutes nothing has happened (usually takes 5 - 8 seconds). I tried clicking the "Cancel current process" red square beside the scrolling "Working on something" indicator at the bottom of the screen. It just sits there and hangs. . . Same is true if I try to do an Outline on a 2000+ line source member (99% is sub procs). Just like Mike Wills I also cannot seem to get Code Assist to work for variables or bifs. I type in % and then Ctl + Enter and nothing happens. I looked through the LPex editor settings and didn't see anything in there. Any suggestions? **Note** I don't have all of the "Missing PTF's" installed yet being that I just installed this last night. Aaron Bartell p.s. WDSc 5.1 does start faster and I thank you for that! _______________________________________________ This is the Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries (WDSCI-L) mailing list To post a message email: WDSCI-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/wdsci-l or email: WDSCI-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l.
