What is CWBPING?

Sean, I'm curious; what OS and are you running on? I'm on XP Pro.

Just for fun, I ended DDM and restarted DDM. I now have a job showing
in my
list of submitted jobs: QRWTLSTN. No messages in the joblog for it,
though.
CWBPING fails on DDM with and without SSL, so this is very likely the
problem. I just don't know why it doesn't work.

E - CWBCO1003 - Sockets error, function connect() returned 10054
E - CWBCO1047 - The iSeries server application (DDM) disconnected the
connection

E - CWBCO1008 - Unable to connect to server application DDM, returned
10054

There's nothing that could block ports/packets between me and the 400.

CHGDDMTCPA has PWDRQD *NO for some reason. Maybe I should change that?

Nothing related in QSYSOPR.

QUSER is *ENABLED.
