WDSc 5.0 - Communications Error starting debug

Recently, when I try to start debug in WDSc I am prompted for the program
information but after clicking on Debug a message box appears with
'Communications Error'.  I have looked at the job log for the STRRSESVR job
and can't find anything.  Our operations group tells me nothing has changed
on the iSeries in the last week or so.  The frustrating part is that it
worked previously (my last usage was probably a week ago or longer).

Does anyone know how I can find more information about what is causing the
error?
