You can control it by specifying "-data C:\MyWorkspace" on the command line, or in this case Windows shortcut. IBM is storing their default in C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere Studio\wdsc.ini I would try blanking out the saved value to see if you can get it to prompt you again. Ultimately though, I copy their shortcut to create multiple shortcuts for each of the workspaces I use.
