...has anybody tried prompt CL in the CL editor? I did, and while it works for the most part, CALLs with lots of parameters don't seem to work very well. I don't know if this is a CALL issue, or a parameters issue, or what. It could very well be an issue of trying to prompt a multiple line statement, and may have to do with having the formatting switch off. In any case, I have formatting off (because reformats a line even if I don't prompt fpor it, and just delete a space). Now, I go in and prompt a multiple-line CALL statement like this: CALL PGM(MYPGM) PARMS(&PARAMETER1 &PARAMETER2 &PARAMETER3 + &PARAMETER4 &PARAMETER6) I hit F4, up comes a prompt with a list box for me to edit the parameters. I change &PARAMETER6 to &PARAMETER5 (actually, it's a bit more work than that, but that's a different issue) and press OK. It simply brings me back to the screen without making any changes. (Further testing shows that it's indeed got to do with having the automatic formatting turned off. I turned it on and the change worked.) Joe
