I just installed WDSC 5.0 on my PC after uninstalling WDSC 4.0. I was
nervous about migrating and keeping old files. All PTF's had been applied
that we could apply to V5R2 iSeries. After installing on PC, no big
problems except a blue screen (anyone else get this?) when rebooting
manually to finish the install. Checked missing PTF's and it says I am
missing PTF SI08018 (Remote Control Access support) and SI08020 (RSE
support). Upgraded to service pack 0 and then service pack 1 (5.0.1).
Checked PTF's again and says missing those same PTF's for product 5722SS1.
They are not on the system in the DSPPTF.
The readme says that these are required PTF's, yet they cannot be found
anywhere on the PTF list and product PTF's pages. What are these PTF's, do
I need them, and how do I get them?

I could start WDSC fine and the installation worked like a champ (or partly
kind of like a chimp if the blue screen is not normal) :).
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thank,
Craig Strong
