Thanks Violaine,

It was under Windows->Preferences->REMOTE SYSTEMS->iSeries->Lpex Editor Parsers

Not sure why it is under Remote Systems and not LPEX editor... but my free-form
tabs are now set every four characters, and I'm happy

Thank you,

Hi Chris,

All the iSeries parsers (CL, COBOL, RPG, DDS) override the Lpex default
preferences with tab settings relevant to themselves.
To override these preferences, go to Windows->Preferences->iSeries->Lpex
Editor Parsers
Select parser of choice and then modify the tab setting you want.
Note that RPG has tab settings for pretty much all of the different types
of lines.

thanks,

How do you set the tab stops in the LPEX editor?

I've tried the settings at.. Window->Preferences->LPEX Editor->Tabs, no
effect
