I've been using Code Designer for the first time since installing WDSC a
couple of months ago. I'd used it in its previous incarnation with no
problem. I've been creating a simple print file and have had four or five
crashes in the past hour. All show a Windows error and the DrWatson short
description is the familiar "Exception number: c0000005 (access violation)."
Rebooting didn't make any difference.

I'm running WDSC v4 sp4, Win2K, 256 meg of ram. The pattern, if you can
call it a pattern, seems to involve either adding something new--a field or
record format, or modifying something. Sometimes it happened on a mouse
click, other times on a key press.

When the crash happens, the process on the 400 continues and the source
member is locked until I shut down the Communicatins Daemon.

Code 400 has been completely stable; I was surprised at Designer's behavior.

Any suggestions? I know this is a poor description of the problem.
