<So, does a project allow you to specify a build program? is this like your "wizard" or "style"? Does this program run in the "associated" library? Are these wizards part of TurnOver or of WDSC?

This is my understanding of iSeries projects so far:

The "associated library" is only significant if the "build style" makes use of it.

WDSC comes out of the box with 2 build styles, "Program" and "Command".

Both of the Program and Command build styles push your source changes back to the project's associated library. But the source can be pulled into the project from any source library on the iSeries.

The build style that your project uses is an iSeries project property. From the project's build style property page you also enter any configuration information that the build style happens to require.

The Program build style configuration requires that you provide a program that will be called when you do a build. The Command style requires that you provide a command that will be executed. These programs and/or commands do not come out of the box. They must be provided by you and what they do is up to you.

Unless you are willing to write your own plugin to contribute your own build style, this pretty much defines the limits of an iSeries project's flexibility. And, as someone mentioned earlier, 3rd party vendors have apparently already provided build styles geared towards their own CM solutions.
