Paul,

Remote command is more like QShell than QP2TERM. If you open the QShell on
a 5250 and run:

java -version

what do you see?

Don,
I work with Rod Smith and his works. Is the remote command window like
QSHELL? or QP2TERM? I thought it might be the .profile file in my home
directory but that doesn't seem to be it.

My stuff looks like Rod's though I have not looked at any kind of possible
authority problem. He has more authority than I do on the system.

Does the remote commands tab use the classpath that is set on my local
machine for anything?

Is there a log that logs these errors? The .log file in the
wssd/runtime-workspace/.metadata does not contain the errors I get with
this
utility.
