Fw: How to handle connections/filters to multiple systems -- WDSCI-L

Scott, this is the way it is designed... since the filters for each
subsystem (or "level" as you refer
to it) are unique, so too are the filter pools that hold the filters. Thus,
yes, you must create a filter
pool per subsystem. Sorry about that!

This works to a point.  Yes, I can use the steps outlined by Phil, but the
new Filter pool is created by level UNDER the Connection, not for the
connection itself.  In other words when I right click on 'iSeries Objects"
and add a new Filter pool, that pool applies to that level only.  If I then
expand 'iSeries Jobs' under the same connection, I have to create the new
filter pool under it.  It would be nice to have the ability to create the
filter pool at the connection and have it added to each of the levels under
it.
