No, the link I attached is from the IBM website and is more recent than
the CD. It has even been updated since it was originally posted.

Were you referring to the readme.htm I posted? That was from the
installation CD. Probably would have been better if the danged host
prereq's were just a link to an external site than embedding it onto the
CD's readme.htm

I do not believe there is any advantage to loading it on the iSeries. By
the way, in that other reply, the link to the readme should have been

Finally got the box of software for 5.
You can store the CD's on your iSeries, a network drive, or just on the
CD's.
Is there advantage to storing them on the iSeries? Namely, if I upgrade
OS, apply ptf's, etc., is there some way to have the clients automatically
refresh? Sort of like iSeries Access checking for service packs?
