Hi Rick, Variables view displays only Local Variables and these are not currently supported for RPG. Hence, you are correct to use Monitors view. The simplest way to add a variable to the Monitors view, is to double click on a variable in your source. This will select the appropriate variable. Then use right mouse click to bring up the popup menu. Select 'Add to Monitors' from that popup. The variable should end up showing in the Monitors view. It seems to step through the program well enough but I can't figure out how to display program variables. I have followed the steps in the help and they seem straightforward enough but the field values don't display. This is an RPGLE program so I am using the monitors view as opposed to the variables view. It shouldn't be this hard to display field values. Can anyone help?
