Make sure you applied the FixPack 0 before attempting the other updates.
It fixes some problems in the install mechanism that you will get if you do
not run it first.

      Subject:    [WDSCI-L] WDSC V5 Update to 501

Update form V500 to V.501 gives errors:
I follow the instructions from

ftp.software.ibm.com/as400/products/ad/wdt400/v5.sp/501/readme.htm
<ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/as400/products/ad/wdt400/v5.sp/501/readme.htm>

When I use the proposed directory to install the update to,
I get an error message saying

"You cannot install in the site "file:C:/WSDC/iseries/eclipse/" . It is
considered non updatable .

When I create / select another directory I get the warning

"If you continue ... the resulting config will contain duplication
conflicts
that may cause parts of the product to be unusable .

What is going wrong ?

luc
