WDSC V5 Update to 501 -- WDSCI-L

Update form V500 to V.501 gives errors:
I follow the instructions from

When I use the proposed directory to install the update to,
I get an error message saying 
 
"You cannot install in the site  "file:C:/WSDC/iseries/eclipse/" . It is
considered non updatable .
 
When I create / select another directory I get the warning
 
"If you continue ... the resulting config will contain duplication conflicts
that may cause parts of the product to be unusable .
 
What is going wrong ?
