WDSC has an equivalent to STRCODE called STRRSESVR. I am not aware of anyway to direct your CL prompts to it, however. It mainly exists for when you say you want to run a command or program in an "Interactive" session. Such as when debugging a 5250 app. Mark To: Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries <wdsci-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> cc: bcc: Subject: RE: [WDSCI-L] WDSc 5 is slow! I was really referring to RPG and CL. I may have been thinking about prompting for CL commands or RPG specs, which, although pretty when brought down to the PC, is quite slow. The GUI prompt for CL in CODE has a few problems. It's easier to have a STRCODE session going, in my experience. Any hint of whether that form of server communications will still be around a while?
