How much have did you use 4.0. I used it pretty heavily for about 3-4
months and think that 5.0 has some definite improvements in speed (still not
fast of course:-). Uploading and downloading source members was a huge time
hog and isn't so much in 5.0.

Hi,

I also haven't seen much of the promise that WDSc 5 would be faster than
WDSc 4.

Hardware is PIV 2.4 GHz with 512 MB RAM... not that it is slow on it (but
fast is something else).

Kind regards,
Paul

I want to learn to do this, but it is so slow. I just wanted to view the
outline of a program, I am going on 1/2 hour to see it. I cancelled it, but
still is taking forever. Now granted the compile listing is over 1000 pages
long, but still, I would think it would be faster than that on a 1 Gh
Celeron with 512 MB of RAM. Yes... the cheap skates gave me a celeron.
