We have run into this on a number of our PC's, but not all of them.

They are all casual Code/400 users, so we have not pursued it. If you find
anything out, I'd love to know.

Our PC's were mostly Win2K.

If I right click on a member I can open it in a few seconds with the LPEX
editor.

However, I still prefer the Code editor, but if I try to open with the
Code editor it takes forever, say, 3-4 minutes. Eventually it does
download and open. Closing also takes a long time.

XP task manager shows the system to be 98% idle, and my hard drive doesn't
seem to be doing anything. A communications issue?

Running with a STRCODE server and starting the Code editor from PDM works
well as it always did, bus if I've been messing with RSE, sometimes it
also slow down. If I stop the daemon and the STRCODE server, then restart
both, it goes back to normal..

I'm running Win XP, SP1, 1.8 ghz P4, 256mb memory. While this might be a
little light on memory, I still have this problem with no other
applications running.

WDSC 5.0.1, freshly installed today.

Any ideas?
