I put: Database: my current library Userid: my as400 userid Password: my as400 pwd Database vendor type: DB2 UDB for iSeries, V4R5 JDBC driver: IBM DB2 AS/400 NET DRIVER Host: url to my as400 Server name: grayed out and blank JDBC driver class: grayed out, but contains com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDriver Class location: C:\WDSC\WSSD\plugins\com.ibm.etools.iseries.toolbox\runtime\jt400.jar Connection URL: grayed out, but contains jdbc:as400://url to my as400 When I click Finish, it gets as far as "Loading JDBC metadata" and goes no further. I have to end the process in task mgr. Phil
